Brigitte graduated from the “Academy of Light Music” in Hilversum. Immediately after her education, she became the lead singer in the Music Theater production Jeans 3,4 and 5.

Brigitte was part of the “Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force” in the Liberation Show “On The Air.” Since 1996 she has continuously played leading roles in Musicals and Music Theater productions.

In 1996/97, she played in “Evita” (alternate Evita Peron) and as understudy Maria in the Flemish “The Sound of Music.” In 1997/98, she conquered the role of Sandy in the Dutch production of “Grease,” and after that, she was seen in the acclaimed “The Dancing Queens,” A Tribute to Abba, in the Amsterdam “Werkteater” and as the main show in the Broadway Theater ShowBizCity. In 2000 Brigitte again worked as a soloist with the “Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force” in the theater show “Going Dutch” and next to Willeke Alberti in the Revue “More than Bread alone.” Until February 28, 2002, Brigitte played the role of Grace Kelly three times a week in “Grace” the musical. In the same year, Brigitte and her colleagues performed in Ahoy during “Musicals in Concert.” In the 2002/2003 season, she played ao Mia Farrow and Nancy Sinatra jr. In “Sinatra, that’s life!”. She has appeared on television in the series “That’s how I know someone” and “Canopy and Canopy.” Brigitte also gives her voice to many children’s series, among others. Bella in the Teleac series “Tweenies,” Helena in Disney’s “Hercules” and Tuptim in “The King and I.” Between all companies, Brigitte, together with her colleagues Tony Neef and Rolf Koster, can be seen at (company) parties and events with the German comic trio “Heidi und die Heino’s” and with an ode to the Songfestival in the formation “Your Votes ”And together with Tony she forms the duo“ Musicals in Motion.” In 2003 Brigitte was seen in a play with songs; Edwin de Jong made “Onder Ons” on behalf of “De Zonnebloem.” In 2004 she took over the role of Lidwientje Walg from Chantal Janzen in “Can you tell me the way to Hamelin, sir?”. From January to May 2005, Brigitte was together with ao. Johnny Logan and the Royal Netherlands, Air Force Orchestra, can be seen in the theater tour “Songfestival in Concert.” In the 2005/2006 theater season, she played Martha Bell in the musical Pietje Bell.

And in 2006/2007, she did a tour with Willeke Alberti, who celebrated her fiftieth anniversary in the theater performance “Goud.” She played among others the young Willeke. In the 2007/2008 season, she was seen in the Musical Theater concert “Musical to the Max” with ao. Tony Neef and in “A Tribute to the Bee Gees” an ode to the pop group “The Bee Gees.” In the 2008/2009 season, she was a soloist on a theater tour with the Orchestra of the Royal Netherlands Air Force in the Dutch song program “Going Dutch.” And she played Lara Steen in the Musical Thriller “No way to treat a lady” in the M-Lab. In 2010 she appeared in “A Beautiful Boy” in which she played one of the main roles, a play with songs, which was played for the Amsterdam Kleinkunst Festival.

In the 2012 season, Brigitte and Laura Vlasblom made their own performance and played with the title “Hair.” A theater concert with fun and less pleasant anecdotes about the life of the working woman, in short with stories from their own lives.
